Happy new year to all! We are going strong on the roof this month and hope to have the Earthship roofed by the end of March. After that time we will press on with training and volunteering on many different things. The rough schedule for the first half of 2010 is as follows:

The order of things is pretty flexible and will most likely change but that is the general idea. If you are thinking of visiting for training and hands on experience then the best time will be April - June 2010. A lot of people are coming so please make sure you book in advance so i can keep space for you!

Below are pictures of the roof work in progress.

The tiles are just being tested here. Since the roof beams do not overlap the entire wall we are making extensions that also change the angle around the edge. The roof also looks nice like that! We will be adding an EDPM waterproof barrier under the tiles when we really do it. That should happen in late March.
